This study aimed to examine the impact of strategic intelligence on crisis management in the executive offices of Lahj Governorate, Yemen, by identifying the level of application of strategic intelligence dimensions and examining the nature of the relationship, correlation, and impact between strategic intelligence and crisis management. The study adopted the descriptive analytical approach and used a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool.
The study population consisted of supervisory leaders in the executive offices of Lahj Governorate, totaling (500) individuals distributed across (19) executive offices. A stratified random sample of (250) questionnaires was distributed, (230) were retrieved, and (225) valid questionnaires were statistically analyzed. Strategic intelligence was measured through its five dimensions: strategic foresight, organizational learning, strategic flexibility, motivational leadership guidance, and institutional integration and cohesion. While crisis management was measured through its four dimensions: effective leadership, risk management, community partnerships and coordination, and technological readiness (automation).
The results indicated that the level of strategic intelligence was high, with a mean of (3.78), and the level of crisis management was also high, with a mean of (3.66). The findings confirmed the existence of a strong positive statistically significant correlation between the dimensions of strategic intelligence and crisis management, with a correlation coefficient of (0.84). Regression analysis showed that strategic intelligence explains (71%) of the variance in crisis management, while the remaining (29%) is attributed to other organizational, administrative, and environmental factors. The results also showed statistically significant differences in respondents' responses due to gender, educational qualification, and job level, while no differences were found due to age or years of experience. In light of this, the study confirmed the importance of adopting strategic intelligence as an effective approach to enhancing crisis management and improving institutional performance in executive offices.
