Abstract

The study aimed to identify strategic thinking and its relationship to crisis management, the mediating role of organizational change management, an applied study on the Electricity Distribution Company in the Gaza Governorates. The study community consisted of employees with supervisory positions, numbering (76) employees, The study sample was determined using a simple random sampling method. The most important results reached by the study: The level of strategic thinking was highly significant, with a relative weight of (68.83%), and the level of crisis management was moderate, with a relative weight of (64.26%),The level of organizational change management was moderate, with a relative weight of (66.88%), and there was a statistically significant positive correlation between strategic thinking, crisis management, and organizational change management. The most important recommendations reached by the study: that the electricity sector be spared from political tensions, To work together to manage the crises facing this important sector, establish a crisis observatory within the company, given the different types of crises the company faces, in order to predict potential crises. The company's management should embrace change in business systems, given the importance of change in adopting new work systems.
