Abstract

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is playing an increasing role in planning and supporting military operations and has become a key tool in all defense and deterrence operations. Artificial intelligence technology also has many applications in the areas of modern weapons such as autonomous systems and vehicles. The use of artificial intelligence is expected to have a greater impact on military jobs, especially in terms of human-machine interaction (machine learning, human-machine collaboration). In this research, we will provide an overview of the possibilities of applying artificial intelligence in military matters and highlight the areas of its use in this vital sector, especially in the quality and performance of operations that focus on key areas such as situational awareness, decision support, as well as logistical and operational planning, in addition to modeling and simulation
